My name is Ben Gaibel and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Implementing what is most useful from both Western psychology and Eastern contemplative wisdom, I incorporate mind/body practices which can lead to transformative change, insight, and personal growth. You will learn tools that can be used both in and out of our psychotherapy sessions, so you can build the confidence to handle whatever comes your way long after we meet, without having to depend on therapy.
I also teach Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) in a group format as an 8-Week course. Mindfulness - present moment non-judgmental awareness - can be extremely useful for coping with a wide range of issues and living life more fully.
